La Panhard d'Olivier est une L4 de 1961. PL17 signifiant Panhard et Levassor 5 CV, 6 places et 6 litres aux 100. Elle était une évolution de la Dyna Z lancée fin 1953, elle même issue de la X lancée en 1946. La Z était une voiture révolutionnaire à l'époque par sa structure en Duralinox entraînant un poids très léger de 650 kilos.

The Panhard PL 17 is an automobile made by the French manufacturer Panhard from 1959 until 1965. Presented on 29 June 1959, as successor to the Panhard Dyna Z, the PL 17 was essentially a facelifted version of its predecessor.The initial four-door saloon (and pickup and van) was joined by the Cabriolet in 1961, and by the Break, a five-door estate version, in April 1963.

Today we'll take a look at an even smaller Panhard from 1963. It's a rare PL 17 convertible, in even rarer Tigre guise. The PL 17 was the first Panhard model developed with guidance from Citroën. After the French giant got involved with the smaller manufacturer in 1955, all its models continued unchanged until the PL was introduced in 1959.
